A Mostes Boat in Carpi
A Lamborghini Motor boat in the main square of Carpi directly from Norway. It is not a supercar, at home here, but a powerful off-shore motorboat built in 1989 by the A. Mostes shipyard in Lezzeno (Lake Como). It happened on Wednesday 17 July, when the Norwegian collector Fredrik Skjoeldt arrived with two friends towing the prototype, designed in a touring version of the Lamborghini off-shore motorboats, on a trailer. The prototype is equipped with a 9.3-liter V12 engine derived from the famous LM002 off-road vehicle capable of delivering a maximum power of 870 horsepower.
“This specimen has a four-blade propeller and can reach 70 knots, but we believe that with a five-blade racing prop it can reach 85 knots,” explains Skjoeldt.
In the morning, the Norwegian collectors had visited the Lamborghini of Sant’Agata Bolognese. Previously they had done a demonstration tour in the Venice lagoon and in the next few days they will be between Antibes and Montecarlo and finally on Lake Iseo for some meetings with collectors and admirers. The detour from Carpi was organized together with his friend Raffaello Porro as a tribute to one of the most beautiful squares in Italy.
